Canada announced the reconstruction project for Tohoku disaster area

The Governments of Canada, British Columbia and Canada forestry industry announced the project supporting for reconstruction in Tohoku earthquake disaster area.This project is contribution of $4.5 million for disaster stricken local government in Tohoku region. The funding is using for construction some of public buildings, such as school and care centre for elderly people. Now Canada wood group is managing this project with Japanese government and local concerns, they are searching the needs of the region, and arranging the detail of facility type and building scheme. These buildings will be constructed by Canadian wood and it will start next spring.
