Growing interest in creating “forest service industry”

There is growing interest in the “forest service industry” that makes good use of forest space as places for tourism, medical & welfare services, education, leisure, and so forth. The Forestry Agency held a kickoff forum and matching seminar on the “forest service industry” at the lecture hall of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on February 4 and 5, and over 200 people, more than the capacity, participated.
