Proper use of CLT, one type of Mass Timber, is advancing in North America

There is a movement in North America to open up new markets with a generic concept of Mass Timber, while wood use for mid- and high-rise buildings is attracting interest. Nail laminated timber (NLT), glue laminated timber (GLT), dowel laminated timber (DLT) and so forth have been developed continuously, and cross laminated timber (CLT) is regarded as one of Mass Timber.
